Birds are likely the most beautiful creatures on earth. The colours are unbelievable and you can see a palette on one male. The females have, in most cases, fewer colours but they are still beautiful. Even crows, their black gowns, are still colourful when the sun hits them. Puffins can have 4 or 5 hues on their beaks alone.
Birds are thought of as not being smart but some have vocabularies of hundreds of "words". Crows can measure the proper height from which to drop a nut so that it will crack open without losing the meat from inside and their vocabulary may be in the thousands. Watch them, you'll be amazed!
